Just an update. I posted on another one of my blogs that I am going to be donating a quilt to help raise awareness and research money for ALS. I am almost finished with that quilt, so I figured I would knock out another one, so then I am actually handing in two quilts, and hopefully more when time allows. Here are some pictures of the quilt I just started.
It reminds me a lot of the quilts my Grandma makes, ones we used to snuggle up in as kids when we were sick. A quilt that gives a nice big hug with all the love of the world sewn into them. It's not a big thing, not like moving mountains or anything; it is using my skills to try and make a difference. If I can connected with one ALS patient, and kindle some sort of hope, then I will feel that I have made a difference.
(What I am going to stitch onto the back of the quilt.)
